This is on our development list but we were not able to include it before the beta launched.

I agree with Debra M. The radio button behavior is also inconsistent. Some buttons (sliders/switches) have the same appearance, but different behavior from other controls. I'm not a big fan of the old service, but I do use it for a quick look at the weather from an aviation perspective. Sadly, I don't see myself using this *new* service. It's just clunky. As a very experienced application developer, I see classic signs that this project got overwhelmed by whatever framework was used and then painted in to a corner with McProgramming. That happens so often. Genuine application and UX expertise is getting harder and harder to come by these days. Sorry. Great application software development can be done, but honestly, this isn't it.

Agree with Richard H. this new app is clunky at best and pretty unusable at worst. The old app you had the ability to overlay radar for example and then have it play over time. Other panels you had the ability to see what the forecast weather by clicking ahead 6, 12, 24, 36, 48 and so on. On winds aloft, the colors for wind speed obscure a clear view of the wind arrows. I suggest the colors be removed, they add little or nothing to the winds aloft picture. Will be sad to see the old weather app go away. Like the new flight planner compared to the old one, this is a significant downgrade

I'm very sorry to be negative. In this day and age, marvelously fluid and intuitive interfaces and functionality are the expectation. So, something (hopefully taken as constructive) should be said to counter any ideas that this project meets a sufficiently high and achivable bar. Not only is this offering not ready for 'beta' - the whole project needs to go back to the drawing board - a clear set of problem statements and objective requirements. Then, when everyone so so excited about how useful and slick it's going to be, you're ready to go. This project could never have gotten to that point, or else we'd be looking at something completely different and saying - wow, Wow, WOW!  That's so cool!
