if I create a flight plan on the desk top can I access the same flig ht plan on a ipad in the air?
The AOPA Flight Planner can only be used with an internet connection so it is not suitable for use while in the air. However, the flight planner can send stored routes to many popular EFB apps. It is currently integrated with ForeFlight Mobile, Garmin Pilot, Naviator, Seattle Avionics FlyQ and WingX Pro7. If you have any of these EFB apps installed on your iPad, then you can use the AOPA Flight Planner to plan the route and then send it to one of the supported apps for use while flying.
