Printing Nav Log from Email

Charles R 4 years ago updated by Eric.Rush (Project Lead) 4 years ago 1

AOPA Flight Planner sends a beautiful copy of a Nav Log to a designated Email address. There should be some way to print JUST the Nav Log and not all of the instructions and dialog boxes which take up half a page, thus requiring multiple pages to get one Nav Log.

The flight planner allows printing the Nav Log from within the flight planner itslef. Their are two different versions available, Full-Page and Kneeboard. While it could be possible to provide a version in the email without the EFB buttons and directions, this would be an HTML version and be less desirable for printing. The two versions available in the flight planner are PDF formatted so the pagination is more accurate. This prevents the Nav Log table from being split at an unusual position or from text being cut off and not readable. We can not provide proper print pagination in the HTML version that is sent via email so this version is best viewed on a device rather than printed.
